Volunteers

A team of enthusiastic and energetic volunteers is being assembled to implement the 2024 international event. in 2024 on June 27-30, the port city will become the starting port of the tall ships race “The Tall Ships Races 2024”.

During the “The Tall Ships Races 2024” it is planned that about 100 sailing ships will visit Klaipėda. The port city will host large sailing ships for the fifth time. A team of about 100 volunteers should welcome and take care of the sailing fleet during its stay in Klaipėda.

Everyone is invited to register – schoolchildren, students, working people, parents, grandparents who are close to the idea of volunteering. We encourage young people from the age of 14 to volunteer, and there is no upper age limit for this activity. We are open to youth, families, maturity and experience. The most important criteria we set for applicants are language skills and a positive attitude, because a volunteer is also an ambassador of the city. We want the faces of smiling, friendly people to remain in the memories of Klaipėda of the multinational crew members. We can guarantee that volunteering will help you gain new and interesting experiences, introduce you to various people, in this activity you will strengthen your teamwork skills and experience lasting impressions.
